Read to me will now be sent home on Fridays. Over the weekend please read the library book with your child and ask some comprehension questions as you read the book together. Library book will be do by Wednesday. It is not required to do a reading response. Thank you! Hi Parents of F101!
For second semester we will be adding spelling to each week. Your child will be given 7 new spelling words each week. Mondays: Write Spelling word 3 times Tuesdays: Reading Fluency- Read the story and Mark the text. Wednesday: Guided Writing- Use a spelling word in your sentences and write about a topic. Thursdays: Practice Spelling Words at home to get ready for spelling test Fridays: Spelling test- Fill out graph in the back of your child's spelling folder and initial Thank you so much for your continuous support at home! |
